The website of the “Center for the History of the Caucasus” posted an article by our colleague Abbas Islamov: “Armenian myths of America”. The article says that one of the typical features of the Armenian mentality is that they strictly do not accept the exposure of the Armenian myths they spread. Thus, any attempt to refute one or another fiction automatically turns the author of the exposure into an enemy of the entire Armenian people. A. Islamov argues that the fiction about the so-called “multi-million” Armenian voters in the United States is actually not true, for example, based on census statistics, it is noted that the total number of Armenians in the country is less than half a million, of which only 200 000 people can take part in the elections. In the article, on the basis of weighty facts, other fictions of the Armenians living in America are also refuted, and the expediency of distrusting the myth-makers is proved.
