The Educational Training Sessions by the Institute are ongoing in the Police Departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

"Since 2023, the Institute has conducted educational training sessions on 'The Right to Liberty and Security of Person' for 248 police officers across 12 districts and cities", stated Mr. Mahammad Guluzade, Chair of the Board of the Institute of Law and Human Rights, during his address at the training session organized at the Narimanov District Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

A training session on “The right to liberty and security” was held at the Khazar District Police Department

During the training session held on July 4 at the Khazar District Police Department organized by the Institute of Law and Human Rights in collaboration with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it was highlighted that the key responsibility of the Azerbaijani police is protecting people and their property from illegal acts, preventing such acts, respecting people's rights and freedoms, and preventing violation of these rights.

The 5-day Training of Trainers (ToT) has been completed

The Institute of Law and Human Rights together with the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (UN OHCHR) held 5-day human rights training for 20 lawyers within the framework of the Training of Trainers (ToT) project on June 24-29.
