Baku Hosts 3rd International Family Law Conference  

The Third İnternational Family Law Conference, jointly organized by Çağ University, the Injuria Legal Platform, the Institute of Law and Human Rights (the Institute), and the International Institute of Family Lawyers, brought together legal professionals specializing in family law, judges, lawyers, mediators, representatives of the academic and educational communities, members of the Milli Majlis, government officials, and civil society representatives.

Cooperation Opportunities Discussed Between Çağ University and the Institute of Law and Human Rights

On June 30, a meeting was held at the Institute of Law and Human Rights with Prof. Dr. Murat Koç, Rector of Çağ University in Türkiye. Mahammad Guluzade, Chairman of the Board of the Institute, provided an overview of the Institute’s activities and introduced the guest to its digital projects, including the Virtual Library, the Database of Legal Scholars, the Digital Human Rights Map, the e-huquqshunas.az platform, the PASS platform, and other digital initiatives.

Another Awareness-Raising Event Held as Part of “Human Rights Month”

On June 10, as part of “Human Rights Month”, the Institute of Law and Human Rights (the Institute) conducted awareness-raising presentations on “Human Rights” for employees of the Azerbaijan State Museum of Musical Culture, the Azerbaijan State Theatre Museum, and the Azerbaijan Independence Museum at the Museum Center of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Training Session on “Protection of Property Rights and the European Convention” Held for Employees of the Sabail District Executive Authority

On June 9, the Institute of Law and Human Rights (the Institute) conducted a training session on “Protection of Property Rights and the European Convention” for employees of the Sabail District Executive Authority. The event was organized with the aim of enhancing civil servants’ theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of property rights protection, as well as strengthening their awareness of the application of national and international legal norms.

Lecture on Human Rights Delivered at the Police Academy

On 2 June, within the framework of Human Rights Month, the Institute of Law and Human Rights delivered an educational lecture for cadets at the initiative of the Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
