Another Awareness-Raising Event Held as Part of “Human Rights Month”

On June 10, as part of “Human Rights Month”, the Institute of Law and Human Rights (the Institute) conducted awareness-raising presentations on “Human Rights” for employees of the Azerbaijan State Museum of Musical Culture, the Azerbaijan State Theatre Museum, and the Azerbaijan Independence Museum at the Museum Center of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Training Session on “Protection of Property Rights and the European Convention” Held for Employees of the Sabail District Executive Authority

On June 9, the Institute of Law and Human Rights (the Institute) conducted a training session on “Protection of Property Rights and the European Convention” for employees of the Sabail District Executive Authority. The event was organized with the aim of enhancing civil servants’ theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of property rights protection, as well as strengthening their awareness of the application of national and international legal norms.

Lecture on Human Rights Delivered at the Police Academy

On 2 June, within the framework of Human Rights Month, the Institute of Law and Human Rights delivered an educational lecture for cadets at the initiative of the Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Training sessions on “Protection of Property Rights and the European Convention” held at the Nasimi and Narimanov District Executive Authorities

On May 14–15, the Institute of Law and Human Rights conducted training sessions on the topic “Protection of Property Rights and the European Convention” for employees of the Nasimi and Narimanov District Executive Authorities. The purpose of the training sessions was to familiarize participants with the mechanisms for the protection of property rights within the framework of national and international law and to strengthen their practical knowledge in this field.

Presentation Ceremony of the Book “Heydar Aliyev and the Justice System of Azerbaijan”

On May 12, 2026, the Institute of Law and Human Rights hosted an event dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. The event, attended by representatives of the judiciary, members of parliament, the Ombudsman, the Chairman of the Bar Association, scholars, representatives of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), civil society organizations, and the broader public, featured the presentation of the book titled “Heydar Aliyev and the Justice System of Azerbaijan.”
