The Institute of Law and Human Rights held a presentation of new methodological books dedicated to combating human trafficking and domestic violence

On February 17, the Institute of Law and Human Rights conducted the public presentation of the books “Women in the Shadow”, “Codes of Violence”, “Guidelines for Digital Monitoring in Combating Human Trafficking” and “National Training Module on Combating Human Trafficking”, prepared by Mehriban Zeynalova, Chairwoman of the “Təmiz Dünya” (“Clean World”) Aid to Women Public Union. These publications were compiled based on M.Zeynalova’s long-standing experience in the field of protecting women rights.

Institute of Law and Human Rights Held a Meeting on the Previous Year’s Results

On January 21, the Institute of Law and Human Rights held a meeting dedicated to reviewing the results of the previous year. The Chairman of the Institute’s Board, Mahammad Guluzade, delivered a speech outlining the activities implemented during the reporting period, the work accomplished, the results achieved, as well as the key goals and priorities set for the upcoming period.

Training Session Conducted for Civil Servants at the Binagadi District Executive Authority

On December 22, the Institute of Law and Human Rights held a training session on ‘Rules of Ethical Conduct of Civil Servants and Human Rights Aspects in Their Activity’ at the Binagadi District Executive Authority. A total of 60 participants, including employees of the District Executive Authority and representatives of local authorities from other central executive bodies, took part in training which aimed to enhance professional ethics, legal responsibility and human rights-based governance principles among civil servants.

Chairperson of the Institute Board Delivers Address at Scientific and Practical Conference

The recognition of the right of access to digital services as an independent human right represents a matter of particular importance, serving as a natural continuation of the notable achievements attained in the field of digitalization in the Republic of Azerbaijan, including ASAN Service, DOST Service, and other citizen-focused initiatives. This was stated by Mr. Mahammad Guluzade, Chairperson of the Institute’s Board, at a scientific and practical conference held on December 19 at the Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, held in observance of the 77th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
