On November 3, 2023, the Center for Legal Examination and Legislative Initiatives held a scientific-practical conference on topic “Legal reforms carried out by National Leader Heydar Aliyev and their importance” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev.

A public presentation of the “Virtual Library of Law and Human Rights” organized by the Institute of Law and Human Rights (Institute) and supported by the UN Development Programme was held within the framework of declaring 2023 as the “Year of Heydar Aliyev”. On May 3-5 the Institute held trainings on Articles 3, 5 and 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR). The trainings were organized jointly by the Center for Legal Examination and Legislative Initiatives (Center), the Institute of Law and Human Rights (Institute), the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Council of Europe as a part of a project to support strengthening of the implementation of the European Court's decisions by Azerbaijan.
The Institute continued conducting trainings for lawyers on Articles 3 and 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR).
