A meeting of the chairpersons of the Institute of Law and Human Rights and the Media Development Agency was held
On January 9, Mr. Mahammad Guluzade, Chair of the Board of the Institute of Law and Human Rights, met with Mr. Ahmad Ismayilov, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
At the meeting, M.Guluzade gave in-depth information about the Institute’s activities and noted the effectiveness of mutually beneficial co-operation. During the discussion of opportunities for co-operation, COO of the Media Development Agency, A.Ismayilov, highly appreciated the Monitoring report on human rights violations in digital media prepared by the Institute and emphasized the importance of conducting a series of trainings for journalists based on the aforementioned monitoring results.
The Chair of the Board also pointed out that implementation of such kind of trainings would be instrumental in achievement of a high degree of proficiency by mass media representatives and would contribute to improvement of journalists’ knowledge on human rights.
