On May 3rd, the Chairman of the Board of the Institute of Law and Human Rights Mahammad Guluzade delivered a speech at a scientific and theoretical conference organized by the Constitutional Court on the occasion of the 101st anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev, on the topic "Modern Theoretical and Practical Approaches in the Field of Human Rights Protection in the 21^st Century."

Mr. Mahammad Guluzade gave comprehensive information about new activities of the Institute in the field of human rights. Additionally, while discussing the accomplishments of the 'Virtual Law and Human Rights Library' hosted on the institute's website, he highlighted plans for the development of a unified electronic search database for legal journals. Furthermore, he announced the imminent accessibility of an electronic dictionary on human rights for public use.

The Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Farhad Abdullayev, esteemed the institute's initiatives in this regard as commendable, emphasizing that the electronic dictionary on human rights will prove to be highly beneficial for legal professionals.

At the conference, judges and senior officials of the office of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan, along with Mrs.Sabina Aliyeva, Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Ombudsman), Mr.Anar Baghirov, the Chairman of the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr.Zaur Aliyev, Dean of the Faculty of Law of Baku State University, Mr.Mehmet Yuce, Dean of the Economics Faculty of the Turkic World of Azerbaijan State University of Economics, representatives from the legal community, and distinguished scholars were in attendance.
