The Institute of Law and Human Rights held a presentation of new methodological books dedicated to combating human trafficking and domestic violence

On February 17, the Institute of Law and Human Rights conducted the public presentation of the books “Women in the Shadow”, “Codes of Violence”, “Guidelines for Digital Monitoring in Combating Human Trafficking” and “National Training Module on Combating Human Trafficking”, prepared by Mehriban Zeynalova, Chairwoman of the “Təmiz Dünya” (“Clean World”) Aid to Women Public Union. These publications were compiled based on M.Zeynalova’s long-standing experience in the field of protecting women rights.

Matlab Mahmudov, a researcher of the Institute of Philosophy of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, and Orkhan Majnunov, a clinical psychologist at the “Clean World” Aid to Women Public Union, noted that the presented publications analyze the socio-psychological and cultural roots of violence on scientific basis, reveal the nature of stereotypes formed in society, and determine their main directions.

During the discussions, it was emphasized that the publications represent an important supporting method for ensuring human rights and can be widely used in both training and awareness-raising activities by specialists, psychologists, and legal professionals working in the field of combating human trafficking.

“Women in the Shadow” presents a psychological portrait of women from vulnerable groups who have been subjected to discrimination and violence and offers practical approaches to their social rehabilitation. The publication “Codes of Violence” systematically analyzes social, cultural, and psychological factors and reveals solutions to the problem. The “Guidelines for Digital Monitoring in Combating Human Trafficking” provide mechanisms for detecting and monitoring human trafficking risks in the digital environment, while the “National Training Module on Combating Human Trafficking” contributes to the development of a unified methodological approach in this field and serves as a structured training and knowledge base for specialists.
