Training on Property Rights Conducted for Representatives of Local Executive Authorities

On July 15, the Institute of Law and Human Rights (a public legal entity) organized a training session titled Protection of Property Rights and Local Executive Authorities’ for representatives of local executive bodies.

The event brought together 14 participants from nine different executive authorities, representing both urban centres and various regions across the country.

In his opening address, Mr. Mahammad Guluzade, Chairman of the Board of the Institute, highlighted the Institute’s ongoing efforts to promote public legal awareness. He emphasized its well-established and constructive cooperation with local executive institutions, noting that regular awareness-raising training sessions are held to enhance the legal knowledge of local government personnel. These initiatives contribute significantly to the promotion and advancement of human rights in the country.

During the training session, the Institute’s experts delivered comprehensive presentations on the applicable normative framework for property rights, the scope of state interference with property, and the relevant case law of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR).

The training program was structured into three thematic modules and included interactive practical exercises. Upon completion of the training program, participants were awarded certificates.
