The young scientist took part in an international seminar

Said Musayev, a researcher of the Institute of Law and Human Rights of ANAS, participated in an international seminar organized by the Institute for the Study of Global Anti-Semitism and Politics (ISGAP) on February 2, 2021.
The event, dedicated to the perception of the Jewish community and other minorities in French-speaking schools in Belgium, was presented by Joel Kotek, Professor at the Free University of Brussels (ULB).
The main topic of the event, which was attended by more than 50 researchers and experts from Israel, the United States, France, Belgium, Hungary, and India, was the incidents of anti-Semitism to which the Jewish community was often exposed in Belgian society, and various manifestations of this phenomenon, including online anti-Jewish hatred, BDS (campaign to boycott Israeli-made products) and the characteristic features of anti-Zionism incidents; this allowed us to analyze practical policies and recent steps taken in legislation in this direction.
In his speech, the young scientist Said Musayev noted that Azerbaijan can be studied as an ideal country in the field of combating anti-Semitism, and informed the participants of the event about how ethno-cultural diversity is preserved in harmony in the country where he lives, and how the way of life of Jews in a multicultural Azerbaijani society is respected.
