Training sessions for minors in the Corrective Colony were held

On January 23-25, 2023, jointly organized by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Institute of Law and Human Rights trainings at the Penitentiary Service Corrective Colony for minors were held. The aim of the training was increasing the knowledge and skills of teenagers deprived of their liberty, contributing to their adaptation in society and the formation of personal qualities.
the Head of the department of Human Rights and Communications of the Ministry of Justice, Ainur Sabitova, the Chairman of the Board of the Institute, Mahammad Guluzade, and the management of the Corrective institution participated at the opening ceremony of the training . İt was noted that 2023 was marked by the announcement of the “Year of Heydar Aliyev”, and the speakers mentioned about the unprecedented achievements of the national leader while serving for our people and state , as well as about the progressive reforms that served to ensure human rights and freedoms. The first training on the topic “Heydar Aliyev and human rights reforms in Azerbaijan”, was widely presented.
Interesting presentations on the topics “Children's rights”, “Creating a СV and preparing for an interview”, “Choosing a future profession”, “Opportunities for studying abroad”, “Introduction to the labor market and job search tools” were presented to the training participants during the three-day event .
Employees of the Institute Vusala Muradkhanli, Araz Abdullasoy, Narmin Hasanova, Ismail Musayev and Amrah Rahimli, as well as independent experts Tural Ahmed and Kocheri Ismailov participated in the training as trainers.
At the end of the training, the teenagers were awarded certificates.
