An article by Gunay Sahhat gizi Aliyeva, an employee of our institute, entitled “The statehood policy of Heydar Aliyev in the construction of an independent legal state of Azerbaijan” was published. The article was included into materials of the scientific-theoretical conference “Modern theoretical and practical approaches in the field of protection of human rights and freedoms in the 21st century” on the occasion of the 99th anniversary of the birth of national leader Haydar Aliyev and was held by the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The article notes that the ideas and thoughts about the independent statehood of Azerbaijan are the pinnacle of Heydar Aliyev's wise political and legal visions, and that the great leader, due to his high human qualities, excellent public administration skills and a culture of serving the people, takes his place among the world's rare historical personalities. At the same time, it is said that the freedom of the independent state of Azerbaijan is connected with his name. The author especially points out that Heydar Aliyev's concept of national statehood based on rich material and ethical values laid the foundation of a strong state of Azerbaijan built on politically and economically reliable foundations.
