An article “Judicial power and administration of justice” of legal researcher of the Institute, Ilham Aliyev Malik  was included in the collection of materials of the scientific-theoretical conference of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan “Modern theoretical and practical approaches to the protection of human rights and freedoms in the 21st century” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

The article discusses one of the most important functions of the judicial system - the function of resolving social conflicts. The author examines the powers exercised by the judiciary in the form of carring out of justice. He also touches upon the definition of justice in the legal literature, including its organizational and legal foundations. In the article it is noted that the activity of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan also serves to resolve legal disputes. In fact, conflicts that arise between state bodies and persons who have different understanding of the interpretation of the provisions of the Constitution are resolved.
