Today the organization and the issue of bioethics education in educational institutions of the Azerbaijan Republic is one of the most urgent problems. In 2005 UNESCO adopted the Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights, based on the principles of which relevant UNESCO structures established a core curriculum in bioethics. This article describes and analyzes the principles and concept of this document and analyzes the methodology of a core curriculum of UNESCO in educational courses of universities.
