At the invitation of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Nazim Aliyev, Doctor of Law, member of the Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Department of our Institute, took part in the discussion of an international round table organized in the video conference format on the topic “Effective fight against corruption as a decisive factor in ensuring transparency in economic activity”.
The Rector of the University, Professor M. A. Eskindarov, opened the event with an introductory speech, and then the meeting heard reports from international experts, as well as specialists in combating corruption crimes from the member states of the European Union and other foreign countries.
Issues of international cooperation in the fight against money laundering and corruption, promising areas in the investigation of crimes committed in the field of economic activity, training of professional personnel for the timely detection and prevention of corruption crimes and other negative activities in order to achieve economic security, training of analysts in this field and other relevant topics were discussed.
