The journal “Heritage” published an article by Rizvan Huseynov, Chief Researcher of the Institute of Law and Human Rights of ANAS, Director of the “Center for the History of the Caucasus” on the topic “doubtful reliability of Armenian sources”. The author gave a comparative analysis of the critical articles of scholars studying the history of the Caucasus and Armenia on the evidence and reliability of Armenian medieval sources.
Readers are beginning to give a clear idea that the overwhelming majority of Armenian sources cannot be serious scientific aids for the study of history, as their reliability raises doubts among leading experts and scientists. As Huseynov points out in his article, we are once again witnessing the enrichment of Armenian sources with numerous obvious plagiarism and falsification of translations. Nevertheless, a certain part of Armenian and even foreign scientists, research centers and textbooks on the history of our region continue to be based on these fake sources.
