On January 11, 2023, the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Institute, Uzeyir Mammadov, conducted training for lawyers on the topic “Scientometric” indicators in assessing the activities of scientists and organizations.
During the training, detailed information about the general provisions, the citation index, bibliometric databases and scientometric services, the main indicators used in informometry and useful links for registration were given. It was determined that 8 staff members of the Institute had been registered in scientometric systems (Google Scholar, eLIBRARY, ORCID ID, etc.) and 5 others had an H-index.
The information received during the training would be useful to the Institute's staff when writing scientific articles in the future and would further strengthen their position in international scientific databases.
