Today, the reporting meeting of the Public Relations Departments of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019 was held.
The meeting was organized by the Department of Public Relations, Press and Information of the Presidium of ANAS.
Opening the event, ANAS Vice President, Academician Isa Habibbeyli spoke about fundamental reforms and innovations in the Academy. According to him, after being elected president of ANAS, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev made targeted decisions on the reorganization of public relations departments and took serious measures. The academician noted that the relations between the department of public relations, press and information of ANAS and the mass media of the country should be expanded.
Then a report was made by the head of the department of public relations, press and information, Doctor of Philosophy Agahuseyn Shukurov.He provided statistics on news published on the Science.az web portal and said that in the reporting year, about 2,300 news articles were posted on the site and more than 900 videos were broadcast by the Science TV industry. Then the report of the public relations departments of various institutes was heard.
At the end of the event, answers to questions from participants were given, appropriate decisions were made regarding the establishment of high-level relations and organizational work between public relations departments.
