Visit of Law Students from Istanbul Medipol University to the Institute of Law and Human Rights
On April 15, a group of 30 law students from Istanbul Medipol University visited the Institute of Law and Human Rights as part of an academic exchange program.
The students were welcomed by Mr. Ilgar Agasiyev, Head of the Department of Communications and International Relations at the Institute. He provided a detailed overview of the Institute’s activities and current initiatives, highlighting the significance of academic exchange between the two brother nations and its role in fostering future cooperation in the legal field.
Professor Amir Aliyev, Rector of the Academy of the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan, also attended the meeting. He emphasized that such initiatives not only enrich students' academic experiences but also contribute to strengthening long-term collaboration between higher education institutions.
As part of the program, legal researcher Ms. Zohra Kengerli and trainer-expert Ms. Zumrud Alizade delivered a presentation introducing the Institute’s work. They highlighted its achievements in the fields of human rights education, legal research, and training, and shared insights into the Institute’s comprehensive approach to legal advocacy and social development.
The session concluded with an open dialogue, during which Turkish students engaged in an exchange of perspectives on the development of human rights and had their questions addressed.
