The Institute of Law and Human Rights was represented at the meeting of the Working Group on the National Execution Strategy and Action Plan
On December 15-18, a meeting was held on the topic “National Execution Strategy and Action Plan of the Working Group on the execution of resolutions and judgments of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) by the Republic of Azerbaijan”. This event was organized within the framework of the Council of Europe’s project named “Support for the improvement of the execution of European Court judgments by Azerbaijan”.
The Institute of Law and Human Rights (Institute) was represented at the meeting by Vusala Muradkhanli, head of the Human rights training and expertise department, and Gulnaz Alasgarova, a specialist of the department.
During the discussion of the strategy and action plan, Vusala Muradkhanli said that the Institute organizes trainings on individual articles of the European Convention on Human Rights in various state institutions. She also emphasized that the Institute has the potential of professional staff for conducting trainings for wider audiences and is always ready to contribute to the execution of the judgments of the ECtHR.
