Institute of Law and Human Rights Held a Meeting on the Previous Year’s Results
On January 21, the Institute of Law and Human Rights held a meeting dedicated to reviewing the results of the previous year. The Chairman of the Institute’s Board, Mahammad Guluzade, delivered a speech outlining the activities implemented during the reporting period, the work accomplished, the results achieved, as well as the key goals and priorities set for the upcoming period. During the meeting, comparisons were made between the Institute’s activities in previous years, future plans and upcoming tasks were discussed.In addition, new members who have recently joined the Institute’s Expert Council were introduced to the staff. These included Saadat Baktashi, former judge and chairperson of the Supreme Court of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic; Jeyhun Garajayev, former judge of the Constitutional Court and SJD (Doctor of Legal Sciences); and Nail Abbasov, judge of the Nasimi District Court and PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) in Law.It was especially emphasized that the newly appointed members are expected to make a valuable contribution to the Institute’s activities.
