The Institute creates a unified database of legal scholars

On June 5, 2024,  the Institute of Law and Human Rights public legal entity started the creation of a unified database of local legal scholars. For this purpose, the Institute addressed all law faculties of existing universities in the country. According to the Chairman of Board of the Institute  Mahammad Guluzade, there are currently hundreds of legal scholars in the country, but there is no unified database including infromation about them. The existing of such a base can significantly contribute to the improvement of legislation, research in the field of law and the development of legal science generally.

The unified database of legal scholars will contain necessary information about them, including their scientific degrees, fields of specialization, publications, subjects they teach, h-indexes and other international ranking indicators.

The base is expected to be put into use in July.
