On November 4, a joint information session was held by the Institute of Law and Human Rights Public Legal Entity and the Binagadi District Executive Power within the framework of the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty”, titled “National Leader Heydar Aliyev is the Author of the Independent Constitution of Azerbaijan”.

In her opening speech, Sevinj Suleymanova, Deputy Head of the Binagadi District Executive Power, emphasized that the adoption of the Constitution laid a solid foundation for building a legal state in Azerbaijan. She noted that this event, being a significant milestone in the history of statehood, created a fundamental basis for the realization of human rights and freedoms.

Later, Heydar Hasan oglu Aliyev, trainer-expert of the Training and Expertise Department on Human Rights, provided participants with information about the activities of the Institute, highlighting its work in the fields of human rights and freedoms, as well as in the development and improvement of legislation.

During his presentation on “The Protection of Fundamental Human Rights and Freedoms in the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan,” trainer-expert H. Aliyev commented on the constitutional provisions related to the protection of human rights and provided participants with detailed explanations.

At the end of the event, employees of the Binagadi District Executive Power, heads of municipalities, and youth were engaged in an extensive discussion on the topic.
