From 28 to 30 August 2026, Mahammad Guluzade, head of the Institute of Law and Human Rights, made a business visit to the Republic of Türkiye. During the visit, a meeting was held with Prof. Dr. Murat Koç, Rector of Çağ University, and his staff, the prospects for cooperation between the University and the Institute were discussed, and the Institute's publications were donated to the library fund of Çağ University.

He later met with Fatih Önge, mayor of Mersin Gülnar Municipality, and delivered a presentation to the municipal council members and staff on the activities of the Institute, especially its work with municipalities in Azerbaijan. The discussions covered the experience of Gulnar Municipality, including its Social Center for elderly people and those in need of social support, measures to ensure transparency in municipal activities and the organization of social campaigns for citizens living with illnesses.

During the visit, M.Guluzade also met with Emrah Aslan, Head of the Mersin Gulnar Executive Authority, and exchanged views, attended the Harvest and Culture Festival dedicated to Türkiye's Victory Day, and took part in the planting of feijoa trees brought from Azerbaijan in the “Friendship” Garden as an enduring symbol of Azerbaijani-Turkish friendship.
