On November 23, the Chairman of the Board of the Institute Mahammad Guluzade met with the vice-chair of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Rovzat Gasimov.

At the meeting, comprehensive information on the Institute’s activities was introduced, and an agreement was reached to conduct training on Article 3 of Protocol No.1 to the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) (“Right to free elections”) for the chairpersons of Constituency Election Commissions.    

During the meeting, it was noted that this training would be useful from the perspective of familiarizing participants with the ECHR and raising awareness of the case law on voting under the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) jurisdiction.
