On July 2, a delegation led by Nazario Pagano, Chairman of the Committee on Constitution, Council Presidency and Internal Affairs of the Chamber of Deputies of the Republic of Italy, visited the Institute of Law and Human Rights.

At the meeting held with the participation of Gunduz Karimov, Head of the Legislative and Legal Policy Department of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, they discussed the dynamics of the development of the existing friendly and partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Italy, the opportunities for expanding cooperation in the field of law, studying advanced international experience, as well as the work done to protect and promote human rights and freedoms. Within the framework of the meeting, the delegation got acquainted with the Institute's legal awareness activities, international projects and digital initiatives implemented in the direction of promoting human rights. At the same time, the parties also noted their interest in implementing joint projects and further expanding institutional relations.
