This competition aims at supporting legal and democratic development of the Republic of Azerbaijan and creating suitable conditions for the young who have outstanding results in the study of human rights.

The competition will be assessed by the Scientific Council of the Institute on Human Rights. The competitors can introduce their articles and personal contact details to the Institute on Human Rights of ANAS or send to the email address (info@ihr.az.org) till the 30^th July.

 The articles concerning the following themes will be accepted for the participation in the competition:

1. “Human rights in the era of globalization”

2. “Nagorno Karabakh Conflict: violated rights”

Winners of the first, second and third places will be given money award in the amount of 1000 AZN, 800 AZN, 500 AZN respectively. The winners will also be awarded a certificate and given booklets devoted to the 15th anniversary of the Institute.

All the submitted articles will be published in the form of collection of articles.

The announcement that declared in the newspaper of “Science” is just lost its validity  from the date of  31 January 2013.
