Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan: How will the relations between the two countries develop after the Karabakh war?

After the victory in the Second Karabakh War, Azerbaijan found itself in new realities. Transport corridors to Turkey and Iran allowed Baku to make plans to expand cooperation not only with the countries of the Middle East and the Caucasus, including Armenia, but also with Central Asia.
This opinion was expressed by a senior researcher at the Institute of Law and Human Rights of ANAS, Director of the Center for the History of the Caucasus, Associate Professor of the UNESCO Chair for the North Caucasus, research scientist Rizvan Huseynov in an interview with the analytical information agency “Central Asia: Kronos”.
It was noted that Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are united by a common history and strategy of mutually beneficial cooperation. He considers our presence on the Great Silk Road to be one of the most important aspects of the transit component for our countries.
