The presentation of the report on “Hate crimes and hate speech against Azerbaijanis”  jointly organized by the Social Research Center (SRC) and the Human Rights Commissioner (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held at the SRC on October 30.

The presentation was organized with the aim of preventing such cases as constant aggressive and humiliating statements against Azerbaijanis in periodicals, social networks and Internet resources, propaganda of hatred towards our country on ethnic grounds by Armenia, as well as damages to peaceful coexistence.

The  Chairman of the Board of the SRC,  Zahid Oruj, the Human Rights Commissioner  (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Sabina Aliyeva, the Deputy Prosecutor General, Elmar Jamalov, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Elnur Mammadov, the Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Science and Education Matin Karimli, the head of the Communications and International relations department of the Institute of Law and Human Rights, Ilgar Aghasiyev, as well as representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations and media representatives At the event participated  .
