The International Conference “Responsibility and Sanctions in Criminal Law” was held in Tara, Republic of Serbia, organized by the International Association of Criminal Law and Criminology. Along with many European countries, lawyers from Russia, Belarus and Azerbaijan were invited to the conference.
At the conference, our republic was represented by the chairman of the independent trade union of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, senior researcher at the Institute of Law and Human Rights, doctor of law, professor Habil Gurbanov, doctor of law, professor Khanlar Alekperov and first secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Serbia, candidate of legal sciences Tehran Shukurov.
H. Gurbanov spoke on the interest of the conference participants. H. Gurbanov in his report spoke about the atrocities of the Armenians and the Khojaly genocide. When translating, the translator wanted to avoid translating these quotes, but H. Qurbanov insisted on their translation. In conclusion, our scientists were issued "Certificates".
