On October 20, 2022, the textbook named “Criminalistics” and prepared by the staff members of the Faculty of Law of Baku State University and the Forensic Examination Center of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan was presented to the wide public.

Farda Imanov,  Vice-Rector of the University, Zaur Aliyev, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Kamil Salimov, Head of the Department of Criminalistics and Forensic Expertise, Shahla Samadova, Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, Firuza Abbasova, Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Nigar Rasulbekova, Judge of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ikram Kerimov, an honored legal expert  and others, took the floor at the presentation and noted that the textbook “Criminalistics” would play an important role in training of highly qualified legal personnel, in improving and further strengthening the effectiveness of forensic methods and recommendations in the field of crime prevention and anticrime efforts.

It  was especially pointed  at the presentation that this book covers the most relevant and important issues of forensic science, new achievements in this area, as well as the latest changes in the legislation of the republic.

The event was attended by employees of the department of “Criminal and criminal procedure law” of our Institute,   PhD in Law, Shalala Hasanova and PhD in Law, Sevinj Huseynova.
