Information Session Held for Students of the Vocational Education Center
On May 30, the Institute of Law and Human Rights conducted an information session for students of the Baku State Vocational Education Center for Public Catering and Service on the topic ‘Guarantees of Fundamental Human Rights and Freedoms in the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan’. The event was organized within the framework of the Human Rights Month initiative, which runs from May 18 to June 18. A total of 54 students participated in the session.
During the event, Mr. Heydar Hasan oghlu Aliyev, a trainer-expert from the Institute, delivered a comprehensive presentation covering the core principles of both international and national human rights protection mechanisms. He also provided an in-depth explanation of the fundamental rights and freedoms enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In addition, students were briefed on various categories of rights, including cultural and personal rights, as well as environmental and civil rights.
The session was held in an interactive format that encouraged open dialogue, enabling students to actively engage in discussions and receive responses to their questions.
