Today, in the press and information department of the Presidium of ANAS, the reporting meeting of the public relations departments of institutions and organizations of ANAS was held in 2018. The event was attended by Zulfugar Farzaliyev, head of the press and information department, Ulviya Rzayeva, deputy director, and public relations managers. Like last year, this year, heads of public relations departments of 10 different institutes and institutions of the National Academy of Sciences - Institute of Management Systems, Institute of Linguistics, Museum of National Azerbaijani Literature, Institute of Zoology, Central Scientific Library, National Historical Museum, along with over the course of the year, made a broad presentation on the management of the Institute’s website and the provision of information, as well as statistical data published in mass media information for the reporting year, the popularization and dissemination of scientific research, achievements and work done to promote the social activities of the institute. There was also presented the statistics of references to the sites for 2018, as well as the materials posted in the "News" section. In addition, the event presented the results of monitoring the web site of each institute, conducted by the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS. In the monitoring carried out on 16 requirements, along with positive results, it was indicated that appropriate measures were taken to eliminate a number of shortcomings.
