On May 14, 2023, the European Law Students Association (ELSA)  organized training "Cassation instance in civil proceedings» , within the framework of the National Court Competition dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Süreyya Agaoglu, the first female lawyer of the Turkish world . The training took place at the Legal Aid and Training Center of the Bar Association.

35 active young lawyers from various universities participated in the training led by Vusala Muradkhanli, head of the Human Rights Training and Expertise Department of the Institute  of .

During the training, the participants were involved in the extensive and interesting discussions about the deadlines for filing appeals to the higher courts during civil cases and petitioning the court for the restoration of the deadline in cases where the stated deadlines have been extended for apologetic reasons. The participants exchanged opinions and presented their analyzes on the mentioned topics.
