The american college of legal medicine announces student and post-doctoral student writing competitions.
All students studying medicine, law, dentistry, podiatry, nursing, pharmacy, health science, healthcare administration or public health, and all post-doctoral students in full-time studies are encouraged to compete in these writing competitions.
All applicants for Student Writing Competition must have previously achieved a baccalaureate degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
All applicants for Post-Doctoral Student Writing Competition must have previously achieved a doctoral degree.
The first place paper for the Student Writing Competition will be named the "Hirsh" Award Winner and the first place paper for the Post-Doctoral Student Writing Competition will be named the "Orr" Award Winner.
American College of Legal Medicine offers the following prizes for the outstanding original papers:
1st place prize – 1000$
2nd place prize – 500$
3rd place prize – 250$
The deadline for submission to all competitions is January 4, 2013.

The applicants for the Post-Doctoral Student Writing Competition should submit their papers to christine@wjweiser.com
