The event on the 25th anniversary of Khojaly Genocide was held at the Institute on Law and Human Rights of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences under the leadership of the director of the Institute, Dr. Aytan Mustafazada and with the participation of staff as one of steps in ensuring the implementation of the order by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on “The 25th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide”.

The genocide and the atrocities committed by Armenians against the Azerbaijani people, human rights violation during the Khojaly genocide were discussed in the event. In addition, exceptional contributions by the head of the country Ilham Aliyev and First Lady of the Republic, 1st Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva were mentioned. At the same time, the goals set for the recognition of the Khojaly genocide in the world, and the work will be done were discussed.
