On April 27-29, the Azerbaijani National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum organized 3-day training on the topic “Public Advocacy” with the technical support of the Institute of Law and Human Rights.by Financial support was provided by the European Union and the Council of Europe. The training was conducted by a professional expert, a member of the Supervisory Board of the State  Agency on Support to Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Gunel Safarova.

The training was attended by 5 employees and 3 interns of the Institute, representatives of civil society institutions. Within the framework of the program, the participants were provided with detailed information on the strategies for implementing the “Public Advocacy” campaign, the choice of the target audience, social partnership, and mechanisms for studying public opinion. During the training, the participants worked in a team and had effective exchange of views. At the end of the training participants received certificates.
