The presentation of the e-book entitled “The collection laws for privileged prisoners” published within the framework of the project “Protection of the rights and freedoms of the privileged prisoners and their family members” which implemented by “International Agency for Disabled People” Public Union with the support of the Council of State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been held on June 8, 2016 at the Instıtute on law and human rights of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

Tahir Khudiyev, the chairman of the “International Agency for Disabled People” Public Unionmentioned that book covers the regulations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as international penitentiary about the rights ofprivileged prisoners. According to him, the aim of the publication includes public support to the protection of human rights and freedoms achieving solution of social problems of privileged prisoners and their family members.

The awareness and legal advisory services on protection of the rights and freedoms of privileged prisoners and their family membersconsidered appropriate noting the importance of this book by the participants of the event.

Representatives of relevant ministries and committees, representatives of  international organizations, academics and media representatives have attended the event.
