Trainings for convicted minors conducted in the Office of the Executive Power and Probation Service

On February 15-17, trainings for convicted minors were held in the Office of Executive power and Probation Service under the joint organization of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Institute of Law and Human Rights. Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Institute of Law and Human Rights, Natavan Rustamova spoke about the importance and regularity of such educational trainings. She noted that the purpose of the trainings is to acquaint our teenagers with their rights, promote social adaptation in society and their development as worthy citizens in the future.
Speeches and presentations on topics were presented by: Head of the Department of Training and Expertise on Human Rights of the Institute, Vusala Muradkhanli “Pardon, amnesty and early release’, training experts, Araz Abdullasoy “Heydar Aliyev and reforms in the field of Human Rights in Azerbaijan”, Narmin Hasanova “Children's rights”, Amrah Rahimli “Introduction to the labor market, job search tools and career choice”, and Nazrin Aliyeva “Opportunities for study abroad”.
At the completion of the trainings, the Head of the Department for Human Rights and Public Relations of the Ministry of Justice, Ainur Sabitova, the Chairman of the Board of the Institute, Mahammad Guluzade, and the Head of the Probation Service of the Ministry of Justice, Akshin Ziyadov, gave certificates to the teenagers.
