On May 5, the presentation of the country report "Measurement of Civil Society Organizations" was held. It should be noted that the project "CSO Size Criterion: A compass for creating an enabling environment for CSOs and expanding their capabilities" is implemented by the European Center for Non-Commercial Law (ECNL) and its partners. As a leading European resource and research center for policies and laws affecting civil society, ECNL helps to define standards that protect and enhance civil liberties by creating a knowledge base.

General lawyer of MG Consulting LLC, Emin Rzayev said in the presentation of the report that "The report – covers fields as freedom of association, equal treatment, access to finance, freedom of peaceful assembly, right to participate in decision-making, freedom of expression, etc."

E.Rzayev emphasized the ways to overcome the existing problems simultaneously accomplishments which are included in the report.

During the discussions, members of the Advisory Council of the Agency for State Support to NGOs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Gunel Safarova, Zaur Ibrahimli and Israil Iskenderov, NGO representative Alimammad Nuriyev, and other guests shared their point of views on the report.

Representatives of international organizations, local NGOs and a number of state institutions, as well as a representative of the European Union attended in the event.
