“Visiting Research Fellow Program” is being implemented to conduct joint research by International Development Agency (AIDA) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Institute on Human Rights of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

   Petro du Preez, an expert from the North-West University of South Africa conducted research at the Institute on Human Rights on October-December 2015. Petro du Preez has researched the topic “The role and ımportance of economıc and socıal factors in the development of democratic institutions, civil liberties and political rights”.

   The final presentation of the analysis of scientific research and results of the work done by the researcher who conducted the research as a part of a scientific research program was held on December 22, 2015.

   At the end of the program the participant were awarded with the certificate.
