Ph.D., Associate Professor Romella Gulaliyeva

Romella Gulaliyeva was born on March 29, 1953 in the city of Lachin. In 1971-1977 she studied at the Law Faculty of Azerbaijan State University. In 1977-2004 she worked as a teacher, head teacher, associate professor of the Faculty of Law of Azerbaijan State University. In 1985 she defended her Ph.D. dissertation on the topic “Конфискация имущества как вид уголовного наказания” (Confiscation of property as a type of criminal punishment) and received a degree.

 

In 2005-2016 she worked as a senior and leading researcher at the Institute of Philosophy and Law of ANAS, in 2016-2022 she worked as a leading researcher at the Institute of Law and Human Rights. From 2010 to the present, she has been an Associate Professor at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

 

She is the author of 95 scientific papers, including 13 programs on criminal law.
