Both, the right to private life and freedom of expression are universal, inalienable, interdependent and indivisible human rights. They also interact with each other. But in some cases the right to private life can clash with the right to freedom of expression at multiple levels and at different aspects of daily life. The article is namely dedicated to find out their interplay, conflicts, controversial issues arising from these conflicts and also to uncover the criteriasf or the solution of controversial issues, which have been defined by the international mechanisms.
