Articles authored by legal researchers of the Institute I. Aliyev “Moral Criteria of justice in Law” and N. Ibrahimli “On the unification of criminal proceedings and practical issues” were published in the collection of materials of the republican scientific and practical conference of 01-02 December 2023 entitled “The Academy of the State Security Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan named after Heydar Aliyev is the bearer of the legacy of the Great Leader”.

The article by legal researcher I. Aliyev talks about aspects of law that replace previous social regulators in social relations and explains that legal regulation of social relations should be considered as fair one. Also, the author shows in his research that without applying the principles of justice, there can be no question of the legal and social state system, proclaimed by the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The article authored by another legal researcher N. Ibrahimli, analyzes the place and significance of the institution of unification of criminal proceedings in the legislative system of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and also touches upon practical issues. The article emphasizes the need to adapt and improve existing legislative norms to changing conditions. The author analyzed the accusations of concealment or non-reporting of the committed crime, the theoretical and practical situations of the case and made relevant suggestions for improving the legislation.
