Multiculturalism, as the basis of equal opportunities
When we talk about multiculturalism, first of all, we mean the creation of the same conditions for different ethnic groups, languages, and cultures in their diversity and development. As far as people with disabilities are concerned, in this case, we also mean granting equal rights to a given social group while taking into account its specific features. Nevertheless, it seems to us that it would be correct to use the term “multi humanism” here, which, probably, will better reflect the whole range of relationships with these individuals, both in the family and in society. Since ancient times, mankind has continuously improved legislation and approaches to people with disabilities. In today's world, the rights of this group of people are under special protection of the state and international organizations, because no one is immune from various ills and misfortunes. Mankind finally realized that this is not only the problem of a particular family but also of all strata of society.
Currently, inclusive education is the last achievement of pedagogical thought and serves as a basis for the education of children with disabilities. Inclusive (French inclusif - including, from Latin include - I conclude, I include) or included education the term used to describe the process of teaching children with special needs in schools. The basis of inclusive education is ideology, which excludes any discrimination against children.
