Memorandum of cooperation signed with National Paralympic Committee of Azerbaijan

On November 1, 2019, the annual reporting meeting of the Institute of Law and Human Rights of the National Academy of Sciences was held.

A conference on “Religion and Human Rights” was held

On October 31, 2019, with the joint organization of the Institute of Law and Human Rights of ANAS, the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations, they held a conference on the theme “Religion and Human Rights”. At this event, Nazim Jafarli, Deputy Director of the Institute of Law and Human Rights of ANAS, Doctor of Law, spoke on "The fundamental principles of the Islamic religion and human rights" and described in detail the work carried out at the Institute.

On October 30, 2019, the Director of the Institute of Law and Human Rights of ANAS, Doctor of Law, Professor, Deputy of the Milli Majlis Ayten Mustafazade, gave a lecture on the topic “Medical Law as a new comprehensive area of law: general characteristic” for newly admitted to the bodies of the Ministry of Justice, taking courses at the Academy of Justice”.

A collaboration meeting was held at our institute

On October 30, 2019, a joint meeting was held between the director of the Institute of Law and Human Rights of ANAS, a doctor of legal sciences, a professor, a member of the Azerbaijani-Georgian inter-parliamentary working group Aiten Mustafazade and the leadership of the Soydash Public Association.

Cooperation between the NPC and the Institute of Law and Human Rights of ANAS

On October 1, 2019, a working meeting was held between the Director of the Institute of Law and Human Rights of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, Doctor of Law, Professor Ayten Mustafazade and President of the National Paralympic Committee of Azerbaijan Ilgar Rahimov. At the meeting, the parties exchanged views on ensuring the rights of persons with disabilities.

Director of the Institute of Law and Human Rights of ANAS, Doctor of Law, Professor, MP Ayten Khanum Mustafazade was awarded the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev with the anniversary medal "100th Anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (1918-2018)".

The institute held training on civil defense

Today, the head of the civil defense headquarters of the Institute of Law and Human Rights of ANAS conducted a defense training for the institute staff on the topic “Organization of Civil Defense Organs and Forces for Elimination of the Consequences of Emergency Situations”.
