“Meeting with Talia Khabrieva”

Today at the Institute of Law and Human Rights of ANAS with academicians there was a meeting of the delegation led by the director of the Institute of Law and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation, academician Talia Khabrieva. During the meeting, Director of the Institute of Law and Human Rights of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, Professor Ayten Mustafazade and Director of the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation, Dr. Taliya Khabrieva, signed a Cooperation Agreement. ” The parties agreed on cooperation in some areas to protect human rights and freedoms, develop constitutional law and democratic institutions, improve legislation based on new challenges (terrorism, cybercrime, corruption, protection of personal data, the environment, national security), coordination of international and national legislation.

At the Institute of the North Caucasus of the Krasnodar University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Nalchik, Kabardino-Balkaria, the XXIII scientific-practical conference was held on May 17-18, 2019 on the topic “Effective crime prevention in the context of globalization: problems and prospects”.

The International Conference “Responsibility and Sanctions in Criminal Law” was held in Tara, Republic of Serbia, organized by the International Association of Criminal Law and Criminology. Along with many European countries, lawyers from Russia, Belarus and Azerbaijan were invited to the conference.

Report on the results of 2018

In the reporting year, the Institute held many events in 2018 to implement the relevant points of the National Action Program.

The chairman of the trade union organization of the institute took part in training courses for personnel and activists.

On the 22-26 th of the Azerbaijan Academy of Labor and Social Relations, new courses and technologies in the creation, establishment and strengthening of the trade union organization were organized, organized by the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan and the Academy of Labor and Social Relations of Azerbaijan. The courses were attended by 24 chairmen, committees and organizations, as well as chairmen of chairmen and chairmen of organizational committees representing the Institute of Law and Human Rights of ANAS, Institute of Informatics and the Museum of Science and History.

A meeting was held with Japanese professors

Today, at the Institute of Law and Human Rights of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, the Director of the Institute, Doctor of Law, Professor Aytan Khanum Mustafazade, met Makoto Nagasawa and Seiichiro Nakabayashi, professors of the School of Public and Social Sciences at Saitama University in Japan. A. Mustafazade briefed the guests with the activities of the institute, raised the problem of the occupation by Armenia of 20% of Azerbaijani territories and noted the importance of bringing the truth about the conflict to the international arena.

The Institute has held a training course on prevention of “Civil Defense”

On 12 March 2019, the Chief of Staff of the Civil Defence Institute of Law and Human Rights of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences was trained in the "Gathering" of disarmed civilian groups of the Institute. The main purpose of the training was to improve the behavioral skills of the staff of disarmed groups during emergencies and in receiving the warning signal, to improve their skills and to prepare them.

On March 12, 2019, at the Institute of Law and Human Rights of ANAS, the director of the institute, deputy of the Milli Mejlis Ayten Mustafazade met with the executive director of the international research organization Millennium Project Jerome Glenn, as well as the Chairman of the Azerbaijan Future Research Society, which is a branch of the Millennium Project in our country, Reyhan Huseynova.
