As the Institute of Law and Human Rights of ANAS, we constantly raise issues related to the protection of the rights of persons with disabilities, conduct relevant research and expertise, make legislative initiatives, regularly prepare necessary publications and organize international events. On the occasion of the opening of the department of "Rights of Persons with Disabilities" the round table will be held at the Institute of Law and Human Rights of ANAS on January 25, 2018.

The research of the scientific worker of the İnstitute on Human Rights has been published in the scientific journal of the Republic of Turkey.

The article «Akkadcada Türkçe İzleri Ve Dil Kuralları Işığında Akkadca Ve Türkçe Dilleri Arasında Bağlar» based on facts and the results of scientific research by Elshad Alili the scientific worker of the National Security and Armenian studies department of theInstitute on Human Rights was published in the International journal “Turkic World Culture studies of the Republic of Turkey. The article is about the links between Turkic languages and the ancient Akkadian language which is considered a dead language, hundreds of turkic words borrowed from Akkadian have been presented as an example. Thus the article introduce  linguistic evidences on existence of Turkic language 2500 years ago BC in ancient  Mesopotamia.

Europe-İmmigrants-discrimination

The article discusses a wave of immigrants that appeared recently due to the crisis in the Middle East and analyzes the conflicting approaches to the refugees who moved to Europe. The author by referring to the statements of some western politicians’ anti-Islamic statement points that, holding racist and xenophobic demonstrations in some cities causes a deep concern. The article pays more attention on intensity of discrimination and strengthening of chauvinist manifestations against immigrants in Europe where the supremacy of human rights, tolerance, multiculturalism and other universal values are declared as inseparable parts of policy.

Crisis in Syria in the near east strategy of western countries

The article analyses crisis in Syria, which started in 2011 and clarifies the causes. One of the most important issues that disturbes regional countries is Iran and its support of Shia sect. According to the author, America and Western countries mainly derive benefits from this situation, triggering shia-sunni conflict in the region. Syrian conflict can be considered the result of winning position of great powers in the Near East.
