On December 6, the Institute of Law and Human Rights held an event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, the 25th anniversary of the Institute of Law and Human Rights, and Human Rights Day.
Chairman of the Board of the Institute of Law and Human Rights, Mahammad Guluzade, was selected as a member of the Judicial-Legal Council.
A public presentation of the “Virtual Library of Law and Human Rights” organized by the Institute of Law and Human Rights (Institute) and supported by the UN Development Programme was held within the framework of declaring 2023 as the “Year of Heydar Aliyev”. The presentation was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
On June 6, trainers-experts of the Institute held training for the employees of the Executive Power of the Surakhani district of Baku city. The training covered the topics of “Dealing with citizens' appeals”, “State Service and Corruption”, “Using social media responsibly” and “Perspectives of cooperation of local executive authorities with NGOs”.
On June 2, an international conference dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Sureyya Agaoglu, the first female lawyer of the Turkish states, on "Gender equality as part of international human rights" was held in Baku.
By the resolution of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 19, 2023, the list of the new composition of 12 people of the Scientific Advisory Council (SAC) under the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan was made public.
On May 31, the trainers-experts of the Institute conducted another training for the employees of the Executive Power of Yasamal District of Baku.

On May 24, expert-trainers of the Institute conducted training for investigators and inspectors of Lankaran City Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
On May 24, 2023, trainers-experts of the "Institute of Law and Human Rights" public legal entity (Institute) conducted training for the employees of the Executive Authority of Nizami District of Baku city.
On May 23, trainers-experts of the Institute conducted trainings for investigators and interrogators of Shirvan city Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
On May 22, 2023, experts-trainers of the Institute conducted training for employees of the Executive Power of Nasimi district of Baku.
On May 15-17, within the framework of TAIEX – Technical Assistance and Information Exchange Instrument, Center for Legal Examination and Legislative Initiatives (Center) organized a visit of international experts to exchange experience on the topic “Organizational structure and management of rulemaking institutions” at the Institute of Law and Human Rights (Institute).
