A Vice Chairman of the Board of the Institute of Law and Human Rights has been appointed
On March 4th, a new appointment was made to the position of Vice Chairman of the Board of the Institute of Law and Human Rights.
Recently, the Institute of Law and Human Rights has created a number of digital database systems and platforms for the purpose of developing legal culture, initiating legal awareness activities, as well as providing information to the public in a convenient and accessible manner.
The Institute of Law and Human Rights (Institute) has introduced the PASS platform, designed to gather insights pertaining to the practical implementation of legislation.
The Institute of Law and Human Rights launched a unified electronic database reflecting the publications, the teaching subjects, h-indexes, and other information of scholars and researchers in the legal science field.
On March 4th, a new appointment was made to the position of Vice Chairman of the Board of the Institute of Law and Human Rights.
The article authored by Aygun Arifli, a legal researcher of the Institute, entitled “Impact of the application of artificial intelligence on human rights” was published in the issue of the scientific legal journal “Law” No. 01 (351) of 2024.
On February 28, a training session on 'Media and Human Rights' was conducted for journalists through the joint initiative of the Institute of Law and Human Rights (the Institute) and the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
On February 15th, 2024, Deputy Minister of Justice - Chief of the Penitentiary Service Major General Mirsaleh Seyidov held a meeting with the Chairman of the Board of the Institute of Law and Human Rights public legal entity Mahammad Guluzade and the employees of the Institute.
I.M.Aliyev, a legal researcher of the Legal Studies Department of the Institute of Law and Human Rights, made a speech at the republican scientific conference held by the Institute of History and Ethnology named after A.A. Bakikhanov of ANAS on the topic “Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic - 100 years: achievements and prospects”.
On January 30, a one-day training on “Child-friendly legal aid (activities of a lawyer in the protection of children's rights in criminal, administrative and civil instances)” was held within the framework of the cooperation of the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Institute of Law and Human Rights (Institute) and the Azerbaijan Representation of UNICEF.
On January 26, a round table on "Current problems and legislative proposals in the field of gender equality" was held within the framework of cooperation of the Institute of Law and Human Rights and "Tamiz Dunya" (Clean World) Aid to Women Public Union (PU).
On January 25, Mr. Mahammad Guluzade, Chair of the Board of the Institute, met with the members of the visiting delegation headed by Mr. Akmal Saidov, First Vice-Chair of the Supreme Legislative Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Director of the National Human Rights Centre.
On January 13, 2024, the training on “Academic legal writing” was held within the framework of the cooperation of the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan (BARA) and the Institute of Law and Human Rights.
On January 9, Mr. Mahammad Guluzade, Chair of the Board of the Institute of Law and Human Rights, met with Mr. Ahmad Ismayilov, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
